1.The Global Marshall Plan Foundation (referred to hereafter as Seller) provides on this web site1 a book sales and delivery service.
2.All deliveries and services, which are being performed hereunder, are exclusively based upon § 2 of the General Standard Terms and Conditions that are valid on the day of purchase. Any general standard terms and conditions prescribed by the Buyer are considered as contradicted and excluded. Any ancillary agreements are effective only if they are confirmed in writing by both parties.
1.The information on the web site does not represent a purchase offer in accordance with § 145 of the German Civil Code (“BGB”), it is only a non-binding request to potential Buyers for providing them with an appropriate bid. §4 Shipping Costs
1.In addition to the product or article costs the buyer pays the shipping costs. These depend upon article characteristics, quantity and total weight of the entire order.
2.Shipping costs for Germany are always as high as listed in the online order transaction.
3.Since shipping costs for foreign countries are difficult to be automatically computed, they can in individual cases deviate from the shipping costs posted online. In such cases the correct shipping costs are communicated by E-Mail. The purchasing agreement remains in a “floating” state and is inactive until the buyer explicitly confirms the correct shipping costs.
1.Payments are to be made with one of the payment methods offered by the shop software.
2.Payments are to be made to the bank account number stated on the invoice.
3.Payments are to be made within 14 days after receipt of products.
§6 Reservation of Ownership
1.The supplied products remain the property of the seller up until the complete payment of all open items - also from other transactions
§7 Data Protection
1.Electronic data processing is performed according to the established data protection law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
2.All customer data will be exclusively collected, processed and used in as much as they are required for the substantiation and processing of the purchase agreement as well for accounting and tax requirements.
§8 Choice of Law and Place of Jurisdiction
1.The contractual relations between the Buyer and the Seller is exclusively subject to the laws of the German Federal Republic.
2.Area of jurisdiction is, if the customer is a buyer according to the German Code of Commercial Law, exclusively Hamburg, Germany.
§ 9 Severability Clause
1.Should one or more provisions of these General Standard Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable by precedence laws, this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this agreement. The parties will agree to replace the invalid or unenforceable provision by a valid or enforceable provision that approaches as closely as possible the spirit and purpose of the provision replaced.)
§10 Exclusion of Liability for foreign Hyperlinks

The following applies to all of them: The Global Marshall Plan Foundation explicitly declares that it does not have any influence over the organizations and contents of the web sites it links to.
